I am curious as to the disparities of the price of a gallon of gas, both here in the states and abroad. If you could post what you pay, on average, for a gallon of gas, where you are located, and what grade you normally buy.

I am in Northern California, Rocklin to be exact (just outside of Sacramento). I just paid $2.39 per gallon for 89 octane (mid grade) gasoline.

In Southern California you'd be paying that and more for 87 octane...

It's about $1.97 for 87 octane in NJ.
(full service, no self serve in NJ)
This is just recently up from the last two weeks when it was almost 15 cents cheaper.

I'm paying 89.9 cents per litre in Windsor for regular grade (87 octane)

That works out to about $2.52 US per US gallon (using an exchange rate of 35%)

Current price is around 10.50 SEK (Sweden Kronor) for 1 litre of gasoline.
1 litre = 0.264172 US gallon
=> 39,746823 SEK per gallon
39.746823 SEK = 5.2435280 USD

So in sweden we pay 5.24 USD for one gallon of gasoline

Filled up yesterday. $1.98 for 89 octane in East Tennessee.

(Also checked the tire pressures. It makes a difference.)

And you know what? There was a time in my life when I paid 25 cents a gallon. Of course PBR was 35 cents a quart, and college tuition was $75 a quarter. Those were the days.

Here in eastern Oregon I just paid $2.23 for regular.
45 miles away to the south and east it's $2.17 and 70 miles to the west it's $2.23. edit, gas is the same price at every station in each town

Hey bootman, so your state is the other state that doesn't allow self serve fuel. We have to have some idiot dispense our gas here, and dribble it all over the side of the car, stop it on the first click one time, then the next time cram in another gallon.

Sorry Jon, I didn't check the price of the mid grade.
