I, on the other hand, am in the minority of this thread. I have cc debt (though way less than the value of my cans) which started many years ago when I separated from my ex-wife and kids. I sent her half of everything I earned (after taxes) for more years than I care to mention.

It was the first time in my life that I actually had to buy food and gas on cc. Divorce can be grotesquely expensive in more ways than one.
