Hhmm... so bass rolloff and tricky interface are your gripes on the D2. So it's better to go S9, or just Rockbox a D2+? My budget's tighter than a leotard.

Some people don't care about the rolloff. It bothers me that it's there, but I never thought about it while listening.

I would buy an S9 before a D2 nowadays. Though I haven't actually tried the S9.

D2+ better compare to FUZE , but to me IPV+ROCKBOX much better than d2+ ROCKBOX
