Could I spend more money and get a sound upgrade whilst keeping the comfort & low profile look of the Sennheiser px100 ?

My Sennheiser px100 are getting close to needing replacement due to cable damage.

I'm basically wanting to know if I can get some open , lightweight & comfortable headphones that will have better Audio drivers than the px100.I'm aware their are now some px100 II,but since the Audio drivers are the same & the designs very similar any sound difference can only be marginal.

I've also read the briliant thread :-

& understand that though the Grado sr60i will be a sound upgrade, their a little too bulky when compared to the sleek & slim design of the px100.

So could I spend more money and get a sound upgrade whilst keeping the comfort & low profile look of the px100?

I listen to Electronic/Dance styles of music.

Yea sure I'd consider clip-ons if they were comfortable for wearing for long periods & secure. But won't the clip become irritating after a while?.

what about V-jays . Their semi open! I need to be able to lower the volume & hear sounds/people speak etc ,do they give much more isolation than the px100's? .

Any px100 V v-jays sound comparisons ?

Thanks for that.I think because I'm wanting these particular headphones to be a compromise between sound & a low profile style. And that I believe wearing clip ons for hours may become irrating ,at the moment it's between  px100 &  v-Jays .

Though I have found very few sound comparisons of these two headphones to help me make that final decision
