I am getting the Bose QC25 for Christmas. I am looking forward to hearing them :]

Hey congrats! You'll love them; especially when flying!

They sound fantastic for ANC headphonse!! Much better than the QC15 and a lot more natural sounding by comparison to the ones I heard at the store. The isolation is like that of my Alpha Dogs... when music isn't even playing though. They will be fantastic for commuting on my airplane flights!!

I really should get around to that...ok...done.

EDIT: If the over-ears weren't so rolled off, they'd be up higher too.

Yep, the over the ears were extremely dull and boring to my ears through my source and amp. They just seemed very flat so I am surprised the on-ear could be much different. Love the looks, but if that is truly the sound then these are quite overpriced headphones.

Hey congrats! I think you'll love them!

Cheers, I'm sure I will - many hours of reading to come to a decision. I hope the treble detail is satisfying enough.
There's a good deal for anyone thinking of buying T51p in uk:

Do give your T51p's a try with Dalethorn's eq curve. I hear them at the office through an idac and the sound is... Unbelievable.

Cheers.

Well, basically he's a guy with a lot of experience in this audio world and has reviewed many, many headphones with a -so to say- coherent way of explaining details from each piece reviewed. I trust this guy since I find his articles and opinions with a knowledge basis/background that seems sometimes to be scarce depending on where/who you're reading at.

You can normally find him at headphonia.com.

Here's his review from our T51p's:

I thought the blue winky face was enough of a hint. Dale was on Head-Fi and let's just say I don't really agree with any of his assessments.
