I'll say 10-2 reg season for the Sooners with losses to Texas

and Tech. The Big 12 South appears to be very strong this year. Maybe I'm a homer, but to me the South is the toughest division in CF this year. Those darn SEC'ers still keep the title for best Conference.

A couple of crazy or not predictions from my part.

Neither USC or LSU make the BCS title game. Both will drop two.

Wiscy wins the Big Ten.

Bobby Bowden retires after another disappointing reg. season.

VT vs Wisconsin in BCS title game.

So who are you rooting for? What are your predictions. Who has the best cheerleaders?

I think Wisconsin is going to win the Big Ten. I'm pulling for Ohio State (for reasons that aren't difficult to figure out) but realistically, I just don't think they can do it. But as long as they beat Michigan...

I don't think VT is going make it to the title game. In fact, I think VT is going to lose more than people are expecting them to.

Florida State will suck again.

Perrilloux stays out of trouble; that is, he does nothing monumentally, freakin' dumb. LSU dominates for years to come.

Ahhh a Husker. I've been to Memorial Stadium twice in 94 and 05. It is my absolute favorite place to watch a game. The rumours are true. Nebraska fans are a very classy bunch. In 94, I remember eating at Lazlo's, dressed in Sooner garb, and several Husker fans came over, shook our hands and chatted for a bit.

Another PAC 10 fan here. I don't think my team will have a very good year. They probably be middle of the conf. As long as they beat their rival, I will be happy.

I don't see USC in the title game. Not sure who I do, but I doubt its going to be USC.

So I guess you're thinking that Wisconsin beats Michigan? I'm not sure that I see that, though I think it will be a good game. Michigan is 4-1 the last 5 times they've played...the one loss coming during the worst Michigan season since 1984. Last year, we beat them 27-13 in a game that (if memory serves) was not as close as the score might have indicated. Considering that Michigan brings back most everyone on offense, I'd expect any losses on defense to be off-set in most cases. So, what I'm getting around to saying is, in a typical year, you can expect Michigan to prevail over Wisconsin. I'd have to think that will happen this year too...though the fact that it's the week before the OSU game, AND in Madison, makes me nervous.

Now I know what you're thinking...we'll see if the Ohio State University can win without Troy Smith this year, I guess. I'm thinking not...It's Michigan at home, no Troy Smith, and last year Michigan probably wins if not for an ill-timed and unfortunate (but probably legit) late hit call on Shawn Crable on 3rd down. Given that OSU lost IMHO a LOT more to graduation than U-M did, I feel comfortable predicting that this year Michigan FINALLY gets the monkey off their back again.

I'm thinking that Michigan, true to recent form (given the above) runs the table during the regular season, but loses to whomever they play in whatever bowl. Is it too much to ask to win the final two games of the season??

Oh...Michigan plays (drum roll, please...) Appalachian State this SAT. I won't be watching the game, however...if any of you have been keeping up on the debacle that is Comcast vs The Big Ten Network, all I can say is a satellite dish is looking better all the time.

Yep, and how about the Badgers with the BigTen's best defense and returning eighteen starters? I might be a little nervous about that as well. I like Wiscy in that game. Heck, I just like Wiscy period. I'm going to be rooting for them.

One other thing, it is pitiful that a school with the success of Michigan to still plays 1AA squads like App... State. Not just picking on Michigan, it is pitiful for any big time program to do that. Other than that, Meatchickun has a great OOC schedule this year with Oregon thrown in with the ND game; should be exciting.

Speaking of great Big XII game day experience, College Station is tough to beat. I went in 02, and there's nothing like feeling that tackle box sway. The game, well I just prefer to forget it.

Question for any Pac Ten guys. Does anyone have a legitimate shot at taking the conference besides SC? Everywhere I look, the Trojans are penciled, no inked in as predicted Pac champs.

Beyond this year, it appears that UCLA is starting to put together some niceeeeeeeee recruiting classes.

I think Wisconsin is going to take Michigan out. Besides, even if they don't, OSU will. When's the last time Lloyd Carr beat Jim Tressel? I rest my case. They may have lost Troy Smith, but I'm not worried one bit. The defense is still solid I think the offense is going to surprise a lot of people (well, as much as a Jim Tressel offense can surprise people).
