Put some poly-fil in them. Helped a little I believe.
I also drilled some holes on the baffle, to allow some breathing room from the cup formed around my ear. It worked just like I wanted, the cans opened up a little more, and the bass has been trimmed down. Maybe the backwave is coming through and cancelling out the bloated bass in front of the driver. Sounds quite a bit better. Now we are on to something. I got the idea from the K501/K601 design, with the 'holes' on the front baffle.
