After a thorough use of the forum search function, I didn't find many recent threads that were of much use.
I'm interested in relatively low-profile, closed, supra- or circumaural headphones. I listen to a broad range classical music. I don't mind a little bulk so I'm open to many suggestions but some level of portability is a must.
I was looking at the es7 and m50 but I've head that they are not ideal for classical.
Open to buying second hand.
Thanks.
EDIT: hmm. just noticed the advice thread. I'll go there and let this one die.
I have shure srh 840s. They sound good. I got them for 126 shipped. Check out some reviews for those maybe? I liked them (and they have great mids). They are not portable unless you can totally ignore a big weight on your head (I totally can, most I hear cannot). They are also huge. On second thought you might not want these. =\
