So, what is the proper way to clean the filters as well, they can get clogged up by earwax reducing sound quality so...anyone have tips out there to share?

Peroxide solution found in most pharmacy can dissolve earwax. The tricky part is to remove the filter from the nozzle w/o damaging it.

Is say a cotton bud and some peroxide solution fine?
