Well Chords support is great and fast. Got my unit up and running with 2 simple emails. I would prefer not to say what my problem was, as I'm a bit embarrassedlol. But they were so helpful and very informative. Thanks!
I have a problem with high bitrate streaming through my Mojo 2. When the bitrate is above roughly 4000kBps there is no sound from my amplifier (the track is still playing in the streaming app). When I swapped the Mojo 2 out for a Schiit dac, the music played as it should.
Hi all, looking for some advice please. Bought a used Chord mojo, all good but it would fully discharge the battery when not in use. I assumed the battery was at fault and replaced it. The new battery fully charges to red with no problems but still fully discharges in a couple of days when sat turned off with nothing plugged in to it. Does anybody have any ideas as to why this would be or possible solutions please?

Do you also have a poly connected to it ? As poly drains it’s battery even when off and it may also drain mojo’s battery ??? I’m not 100% sure if thats the case.
As poly when it is off still uses its bluetooth low energy service, which could be why your battery drains even whilst turned off, I can’t recall if poly also drains mojo’s battery when it’s turned off, but even when switched off, polys battery still drains due to BLE.
If you don’t have a poly connected to your mojo, then your mojo needs to be sent back to chord for either a new battery, which will cost £80 or your mojo may be damaged and may need to be repaired or replaced.
Not sure what you mean when you say it fully charges to red, as red is the battery at 25% or lower battery capacity. Blue is 100% to 76%, Green is 75% to 51%, Yellow or Amber is 50% to 26% and Red is 25% battery to 0%.
It used to be just £30’ish for a new battery as chord would just ship the battery to you and let you install it yourself, but too many folk were damaging their mojo’s in the process, so they stopped selling just the batteries and they now service them.
Hope this helps.
Oh, I just thought of something, try a different charger and see if that helps.
I recently picked up a Mojo and wanted to know if there were any solutions to some popping issues I've been having.
When I power the device on, if my IEM's/headphones are plugged in it creates a loud pop (Edit: It doesn't seem to happen if it's running on battery.)
If I have something like Foobar2000 set to "exclusive" mode, with or without the latest Chord driver, I'll get a loud pop when changing tracks. The tracks are all the same sample rate at 44.1 and the OS is set to that as well.
I had a mojo with faulty battery, laying around. I bought a replacement battery from ebay.uk replaced it. It worked fine but doesn't recharge the battery when I plug it in. It does show a white light under the charging input, like it does the charging, but hours later when I check the battery it still shows red. Do you guys have any idea how to fix other than sending it back to chord?
