I leave the choice to my chauffeur, if it's the pilot's day off, ofc.

Absolutely. I'd probably choose a Nissan GT-R...but it would probably kill me.The most important is, you like it yourself. The same with cars, do you drive the Bently or the bugatti… I choose Bently smooth and comfort![]()
Highly unlikely. That would mean retooling and redesigning the Mojo2 case for zero sonic improvements. That is not Rob’s style. Nor does it make financial sense for Chord. Retooling costs are not insignificant. In the comments section of the recent video review of the Mojo 2 from Zeos on YouTube, someone said the following,
"During CanJam Singapore last month, Mr. Robert Watts himself informed me that a newer version of the Mojo is planned for release around the end of the year, possibly with the name Mojo 2.1.It will have a 4.4mm output (but unfortunately, not fully balanced)."
@Rob Watts Any truth to this?

It’s doubtful you can fit a pentaconn (Sony proprietary so more cost) jack in the current Mojo2 case.
Not everyone likes using adapters. I try to avoid them if possible.I don't really see the point if it's not a real balanced circuit. Just use an adapter... Now a complete redesign with USB-C power and a differential balanced circuit would be tempting, but then there would need to be a new Poly as well...
I agree regarding sonic improvements, but it seems the great majority (for good or not) has moved onto balanced, I myself have reluctantly had to capitulate due to so many devices offering more power over balanced out, all Chord would need to do is update 'one' of the outputs to 4.4mm, as it already had two outputs this would be a really good idea as then it could support 3.5mm and 4.4mm with a very minor retooling, for example JDS Labs on the Element IV they have now offered 4.4mm jack on the amp if you request it.Highly unlikely. The thing I experienced, I don’t always like the balanced. A lot of times I like the single ended more, it is not only about power, balanced can sound less calm to me, more detailled but pushy in a way.I agree regarding sonic improvements, but it seems the great majority (for good or not) has moved onto balanced, I myself have reluctantly had to capitulate due to so many devices offering more power over balanced out, all Chord would need to do is update 'one' of the outputs to 4.4mm, as it already had two outputs this would be a really good idea as then it could support 3.5mm and 4.4mm with a very minor retooling, for example JDS Labs on the Element IV they have now offered 4.4mm jack on the amp if you request it.
+1I would be utterly shocked if this happened at all, let alone by the end of the year.
Right now focus is fully on getting the quad scaler ready, had a talk with Rob Watts at High End Munich on the press days. So don’t expect a new mojo3 soon, if one comes it will be after the quadscalerI would be utterly shocked if this happened at all, let alone by the end of the year.

I would rather love another option for the poly option. One that offers all the stuff it misses, sound quality wise the mojo2 is still a bargain. I have many options at home but mojo2 belongs in that short list of favourites, especially for IEMAfter talking with them at Axpona, I'd be shocked if the Mojo3 was next up after the Quad Scaler as well. The first Mojo was on the market for a long time before Mojo2 showed up. This would be a much faster refresh.
