I've been using the Mojo 2 primarily with TOSLINK the past 5 months, and I recently plugged it straight into my laptop for the first time while travelling... because there is no galvanic isolation, I could literally hear everything going on in that computer, even the high freq buzz every time I moved my bluetooth mouse, it was so bad...

Unless the M2 is sitting too close to one's laptop/PC.

Yes I meant in the new style , the latest one is only C to C
My link is £4.99 and is a USB C to Micro USB, so you could lay your M2 flat, and avoid using the C input on M2 that you had problems with.

I've bought the DDHIFI TC07S looks good and pleased to report it sounds exactly the same as the FIIo and other DDHifi cables I've bought

One problem, the connectors are quite large so the Mojo won't lay flat when connected.

So....not good
Thanks for sharing. Had it not been for this post, I wouldn't have known. Mojo not laying down flat would definitely annoy me too (I think I'm a bit OCD). Fortunately the Mojo 2's premium leather case lifts it up enough so that thick over-engineered connector isn't touching the surface. Not ideal as it's a $100 fix, but the case does make the unit nicer to handle and slide in/ out of pockets. Not to mention protect from scuffs.

I find that Mojo gets a little bit hot when used in the desktop mode, so instead of using a case, I choose to use stick some rubber stands on M2, which also helps cooling

I have similar experience with the mojo2 usb going directly to a laptop. I was hoping to do a measurement with a umik2 in audiolense, I get so much lag and skipping playing that sweep file that audiolense could not come up with a measurement report until I plug in an intona to remove the noise. Comparatively I had no issues with my ifi pro signature dac and (surprisingly) had no issues using the cayin RU6 as well
