Sorry for the newbie question but how do you connect the Mojo 2 with that Vorizuge Vorzamp Pure II Pro amplifier?

3.5mm headphone jack out on the Mojo 2 to 3.5mm in on the amp, or on other amps to the RCA input.

Set the output voltage at around 2 volts based on the corresponding volume display colour.

On most DAC/Amps it isn't ideal to use the headphone out as a line out but that is the way the Mojo and Mojo 2 were designed to function.

I am no expert but as I understand it they don't have an amplification circuit a such so there is no "double amping" that seems to be taboo. Again, as I understand it, when listening to headphones off the Mojo you are essentially listening straight off the DAC with some minor circuitry between the DAC and the headphone out that doesn't amount to an amplification stage in the usual sense.

A little unusual since the line out impedance of most devices is something like 200ohms feeding in to the amplifiers say 100,000ohm input impedance while the Mojo 2 is something like 1ohm output impedance, it certainly works though.

I usually find for deals within the EU since now, with Brexit, Customs fees and taxes makes ordering from the UK not cheap. If I decide to go with the mojo 2 I will also be looking for some second hand deal, if available of course.

As I understand your post, you are asking about providing a 3.5 mm analog input to the Mojo. The Mojo only has digital inputs and analog outputs. So that isn't possible.

If you meant to provide a TOSlink output from the steam deck to the Mojo, then yes, that would work with the appropriate cable.

So i was thinking i could connect the 3.5mm output of the steamdeck to the coaxial port in the mojo.

Also, where can I find the specifications? I cannot find them on their website

Looks like a custom cable with Rean connectors.

It is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, about a million options.

The amplifier is 3.5mm in and 3.5mm out.

Would the ideal volume position on the Mojo 2 to use it as a DAC connected to an Amp be the one in the photo? Red and orange volume buttons ?

Yep ..... indigo is right around the nominal 2 volt line input level for most single ended amplifiers with 3.5mm or RCA inputs.

Make sure to turn it down before plugging IEM in afterwards !!

The original Mojo has a line out preset that is 3 volts, I have used it as a DAC and click it down a few steps to nearer 2 volts.

Better a little less voltage than more but if you drop to far it makes a massive different to the overall output voulme.

The red arrow points to the maximum output voltage at around line level.
