I’d argue that the ddhifi adapter is the better visual match, but that’s totally subjective. Haven’t used the PW one, so can’t speak to comparative build quality. But in my experience the ddhifi adapter feels and looks equal in build to the Mojo 2 itself.PW audio is better constructed and, given the pictures previously on the thread, won't break easily if at all. Yes, they were the only game in town until recently.
It's a premium feel product that matches the Mojo perfectly. None of this matters sonically of course.

What I don't quite get about the dual 3.5 style adapters, even though I have a Garage Box but often don't use it. Most folks seem to like the idea because they think it takes strain off the Mojo's ports. However, the DJ44MOJO is 48g or 24g per port. The DJ44CPro is 7g. From an adapter weight perspective the single port adapter is less strain. From a cable strain perspective sure it gets divided across the 2 ports if a cable gets yanked, but then again, I think I would rather break 1 port and have a working backup.
For both the Poly and adapters like this, I wish the Mojo had support pegs like the connection between the Hugo 2 and the 2Go.
It's torque vectors oblique to the port that cause the damage. Also, the onboard 3.5mm have a limited plug/unplug cycle amount.
The PW audio, ddHifi, and the GarageBox all provide a solid connection to the Mojo like how the Poly is connected. Plus, you are using a separate HP jack to plug and unplug.
Does all this really matter? Unlikely. I haven't had a 3.5mm HP jack go bad in the past 20+ years. However, just one yank with a bulky HP cable and adapter could break the 3.5mm Mojo HP jack. The PW audio adapter (the one I have personal experience) will prevent this damage.
As always, YMMV.

So does the PW Audio. It's the same aluminum casing that Mojo uses. It's a solidly built unit. I can't see anything that would break like the ddHiFi shown earlier.
I bought it before the ddHiFi existed. I don't think I would have originally bought the PW Audio either and saved the $110. However, it is a premium product and I wouldn't pass it off as snake oil or extravagantly overpriced.
No worries. I don't doubt it's worth the money. I'm not the type to toss around "snake oil" accusations when it comes to audio gear (especially when I haven't tried something for myself). Everyone's threshold for price-to-value is different. So does the PW Audio. It's the same aluminum casing that Mojo uses. It's a solidly built unit. Hey all, I just recently had to get a new poly and notice when on WiFi mode using my private server it doesn’t make through the first 2 min of a song before it losses connection. Hotspot and Bluetooth work fine. I can’t really say I use my poly in WiFi mode to often, I use in hotspot almost exclusively cause I’m traveling all the time but just like to have the option when I’m home. I don’t really remember having this issue using my 1st one. My 2.4ghz channel is strictly for music and my poly is the only one that uses it so I give it priority when connected. Any advise would be great.

What are you using to stream to the Poly?
I used to have this issue with DLNA and one particular piece of software. It's been so long that I forgot the details. Switching apps fixed the issue.

Roon for streaming, maximumMPD for local files. Mconnect for qobuz. Out of the house I have not found a decent way to use qobuzWhat are you using to stream to the Poly?

Chord DACs don’t get firmware updates. It’s technically possible for the factory to upgrade the code in the FPGA, but not practical. Good news is they don’t seem to have needed them!

No, but Chord has released Windows-specific software drivers. Are there any firmware updates for the Mojo 2?

There was a FW upgrade a while ago for white noise issues with Apple Macbook M1 processors.
It requires sending it to a Chord service center and didn't change anything in the DAC or had any sonic changes.
Okay, I understood. Thanks everyone for the answers.
Hello,
i have chord mojo 2 for a week now. I noticed that both of the jack female sockets are very hard for the cable to be inserted. Quite a lot of force is needed. So i checked the 3,5mm jack connector and noticed some minor dents and deformation. Connector starts to have rounded edge at the most frequent plugging position. I am afraid to try my cable with furutech jack, because copper is even softer than the brass.
What is you experience in the longterm? Are you using mojo 2 with furutech/aeco jack terminated cables?
Thank you.
