Every time when I want to listen to portable music I always grab my BTR7 or M15. The Mojo2 just not being used. It has better SQ. But lack of BT is a crime against humanity.

Exactly, Cant understand why all the beef about the usb c input and the position of it. It works flawlessly. My use is with DDHIFI MFi06 £29.99 from Audio Concierge. (UK) Micro usb for charging, so what if its an old usb type connection , the cables are still easy to get hold off. A tip, if only using usb c stick some tape over the micro b input. It is easy to stick a charging cable in there, in error and blow the input. The eyes are not what they were and this what I did with MojoOG a few years back.....Indeed, it's perfect for me, I have the USb micro permanently in for desktop mode, so the lower USBC port means the cable can go under it the phone in a dock

Are you saying Rob Watts is lying?I very much doubt it..since they can add additional usb c port at the bottom of the micro usb data port on Mojo 2

Here is with airplay receiver function if you have iphone. I bought the ugreen BT adapter from local market, I cannot find the same model in amazon sorry. The airplay receiver have optical out, so I use it with short 20 cm optical cable.
The sound of Mojo 2 + BT adapter is significantly better than any Bluetooth dac amp i have before, although the combination make it a bit bulky than the likes of Qudelik 5k, and Go Blu.
Are you saying Rob Watts is lying?
I am amazed at some people who thinks their brand as religion and their brands engineer/designer as like a prophets.
While I respect Mr Watts and listen to his lecture frequently, I believe he has a corporate interest and integrity that need to be safeguarded.
Yeah, but do you think he’s lying?https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Receiver-Multiroom-Amplifiers-Compatible/dp/B09KPB41H7?ref_=ast_sto_dp

This is the kind of thing that’s so frustrating. Someone says something a bit scathing, and when pressed isn’t prepared to state it clearly. It’d be lovely if nobody typed anything on a forum they wouldn’t say in polite conversation with the person they’re criticising.
Anyway, I don’t think Rob Watts is a god or infallible. I do think, however, that he’s someone with a great deal of expertise and has done a lot of research into the areas he finds important as an engineer and designer. I’m very certain that until one has brought a product to market under a strict design brief and budget, AND has it compete on sound terms the way his DACs do, that one isn’t really in a position to say, “well there should’ve been…” or, “he should’ve done..”.
It’s the same with the designers at ifi and Topping and everywhere else. Sitting in the cheap seats telling them what they’ve done wrong? Really? Arrogance and self importance.

Which bit?
I am very clear with my statement, it is you who that decide not to understand it.
I don't see a point to BT.Every time when I want to listen to portable music I always grab my BTR7 or M15. The Mojo2 just not being used. It has better SQ. But lack of BT is a crime against humanity.
BTW, see this first:

Some time ago I did the above, since then the Xduoo has been discontinued.
But frankly, I hardly used it, I did it as an experiment.
Point is, Mojo, Mojo2, Hugo2 etc. all are wired devices, in the sense that you need a wired headphone or earphone to use with them.
Also, unlike BTR7 they are not small enough to clip to ones's jacket or shirt either.
Just get a longer, thinner USB cable. It would free up your phone, so you can pick it up, check your messages while you listen to your music.
These devices are "sound quality above all else", BT would cut into that.
