EDIT: Sorry I worked out the answer myself. Please ignore below question.
Question about micro SD-cards please.
I got a phone that says it takes a micro SD-card. I mean to use it for music files. Plus it might need it to be fast writing if recording film with the phone. V30 U3 type thing.
I was thinking to buy a micro SDXC card with fast speeds. My phone just specifies micro SD card though. The phone doesn't specify different technologies.
I think I still might try the SDXC though, because my DAP is exactly the same micro SD-card specified but takes SDXC. I checked my DAP manual again tonight and it says nothing about types of SD-cards. It just says micro SD-cards.
Please does anyone know, does the term micro SD-cards now mean all types, like a generic term for them all? ... Just that I am sure it used to be you had to be careful which card you bought. Had to check what your gadget supported and buy likewise.
Like my DAP specified micro SD-card, but I bought this one for it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FCQRN9K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I think I'll get something like that for my phone. If nothing else I will have a spare 512GB external storage if it doesn't work in the phone. Might need to be quick I think and grab one in the Amazon Prime sale.

LCD-4z and H2 are also quite niceBetter than Hugo 2 and Empyrean? and is there any competition in addition these within 4 K budget?, just to make a shortlist when I go for a listening session?

Hi there, I know there are tons of content and discussions on the Hugo 2.
I have a few questions on the 2Go as I have not yet decided to purchase it. I am usually on the go hence why the 2Go might be something I would like to look at.
My questions:
1. I understand the 2Go has a hotspot mode for WiFi connection. Does that mean I can connect my iPhone directly to the 2Go via WiFi (not Bluetooth) and stream Tidal directly with lossless playback without a public WiFi connectivity?
2. Is it true that the SQ via WiFi through hotspot mode is superior to cable connection, linked via the apple USB3 adapter due to a shorter signal path?
Thank you

1) Yes. The point of hotspot mode is to do what you described above.
2) Since the 2go is battery powered and directly connected to the unit, you don’t need to worry about mains/usb noise or the quality of the connecting cables. I guess that would make the sound “superior” to the cable connection.

Thank you so much for the clarification! That was helpful.

Lots of toiletry bags fit Hugo 2. Problem is they don't have shoulder straps.

Don't. They deleted all my posts about how the 2go does not work as advertised; this is the only one left.

What free software can be used on my iPhone to play music files on my 2GO microSD cards and streaming from either Qobuz or Tidal? I don’t want to pay another monthly fee for Roon.

Which works, but doesn’t seem to be an MPD controller. At least I can’t get H2go to keep playing a playlist if I turn off mConnect the way I can w/ Rigelian.Have you tried mConnect?
Qobuz plays direct from Qobuz iOS app to H2go via AirPlay.

Some of us are happy w/ H2g0, others ... not so much. Really depends on your use case.Thank you. Interesting.
2go has its own thread. You will likely get more help there: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/cho...er-and-s-pdif-adaptor-official-thread.925464/Which works, but doesn’t seem to be an MPD controller.
