Of course both is fine. It's just difficult to compare owning and renting pricewise.

You don't really own it anyway. How many of us have purchased vinyl, CD, SACD and hires downloads of the same album?
It is becoming common that a digital download is now free with a vinyl purchase, but often it is only MP3.

latter one - mail says - first units shipped end April. Chord facing delivery issues. Would be nice if Chord could confirm / deny. Btw: this is a very reputable seller in the UK from which I have bought my 2 H1.

We received that notice from Chord today. So it's real. There is a delay of about a month. ....Bummer :no_mouth:

Thanks for the confirmation - this would normally be the trigger to get a large glass of scotch, but I drank that at Christmas, so I will have to go and see if my sloe vodka is still drinkable.
[edit] the sloe vodka is still drinkable, but I need to go and buy a bottle of tonic water.

I did think today that all these reports of delays were reminding me of Reggie Perrin.
Every day Matt walks into JFs office, and reveals a new delay - "two days delay, supply chain disruption in Woking".................
Sorry JF but sometimes it is easier to cope with bad news, using some british humour.

I agree. I'm not sure why the delay but I understand Rob has or had a plan to slightly improve the unit and as all best laid plans, delays happen.
