Just checking - are you plugging your usb cable into the power socket, or the network socket?
Hello thank you for responding. Am plugging to laptop via micro usb to usb type a. I only use power socket to charge my Hugo 2. I have not listen to any music using the power socket.

Apparently, the engineering design does not allow to charge while using the item. Unless you connect to 2 micro usb, one for charging and the other for playing music. Never encounter such before.

What is network socket ?

There are the two usb sockets - one has a battery image next to it, the other has a usb network image next to it.
In spite of these images, a few owners have tried plugging the usb cable from their source, into the socket next to the battery image, and wondered why they could hear no music.

Yes you can charge the battery and listen to music at the same time, if you use two cables.

yup which is very weird and probably its engineering reasons. But my main concern is why am unable to turn it on using remote but only able to turn it on while in charging mode.

Hello, apparently it works now and it turns out I mess it up and did not plug it properly. However, my remote has issues. Am only able to turn and off during charging while only turning off while not charging. Is this normal ? Or its how the product is design.
Yes. When it is OFF and not charging then it really is OFF. Totally OFF.

Stupid question. Don’t see the answer in the manual. When plugged in continuously and off the power light flashes white. Is this correct?

Like are you guys using micro usb to type a or any type of connection ? Or are you guys using optical or coaxial ? What heaphone ? Not taking RCA unabalance to external amp. Just alone the Hugo 2 amp and dac section with headphone wirelessly and wired. Any of you tried with cheap and low end headphones like me ?

Yes, many owners have written these things in the last 1280 pages of this very thread. All you have to do is read them.

You cannot listen wirelessly to a Hugo2 - or indeed any other DAC/Amp.

When you listen wirelessly, the DAC and the Amp are inside the headphone. That is what you are hearing. You only need a Bluetooth source - like a phone or a DAP or a tablet or a laptop.

Any of you tried with cheap and low end headphones like me ?
Yes. It will sound like cheap low end headphones.

Too long it seems but noted on there. I wonder if there is a short cut and stuff.
And when I say "Any of you tried with cheap and low end headphones like me ?"
I mean are there any improve in sound quality in comparison to the Hugo2 with cheap o2Odac ?
