Are there known issues with skipping tracks when connected via MPD? I can select individual tracks fine, and I can move around within tracks with only a small pause. Skipping back to the beginning of a track works too.

This isn't a known issue, so thanks for letting us know.

If you can easily reproduce this then please send me a direct message so we can get it sorted out.

Nope - good suggestion but the file names are all good. I've also used BlueHarvest to clean all invisible (Mac System) files from the drive.

It now seems that every time I rebuild the Poly database random playlists get duplicates appear. These duplicates do not show in any m3u comparable apps, only GoFigure.

I have experienced the same as you today when using my MojoPoly + GoFigure on my iPad Pro during a flight. Used the "flight mode" setting and everytime I opened the app during playback random playlists would have the m3u. extension showing and some playlists were gone. Listening some more, opening the app once more to find other playlists had disappeared, some had reappeared and the file extension was showing on some other playlists.
All my playlists were created with M.A.L.P on Android.

At least I'm not alone!

“It’s Alive”.

Poly and I reaffirmed our wedding vows this afternoon.

Not sure as of yet, but I might still divorce her ?

I will admit though, her sleek black dress with red frills does turn me on, it’s just a pity that underneath it, she has a set of balls.

Just came back from a run with the MojoPoly and I am pleased to report that it worked perfectly. Every track loaded, no prolonged stuttering of the music (experienced that a few hours earlier). Just perfect. @Phuca, looks like today is a better day for both of us.

I also came across an interesting observation (to me, as it may be common knowledge to others). I thought that when I was in hotspot mode I would still have access to cellular service. I saw that upon my return to my house and only after I connected my iPhone to the wifi service, my pending text messages started coming. Looks like I'll be exploring the hybrid mood tonight. I used hybrid before Gofigure was released and concluded I could get by with a cellular connection while in hotspot. That is not the case.

@joe28 i think glider would be better if it had an automatic radio mode - like roon.

Scenario: driving or lying in bed. Current album finishes, now I need to change album, which is not ideal if your just relaxing or driving !

To keep it simple, glider could just choose another album by the same artist, or some other easy to grasp rule of thumb.

I have noticed that poly is not charging properly, I think.

About 1 oclock this afternoon I noticed poly’s blue light was off, so I connected her to mojo and stuck them on charge.

Poly is still on charge 10 hours later, her battery level indicator has went from flashing red to green, so she is charging, but just doing it very slowly.

Unsure if this is normal operation for when poly totally drains her battery, instead of a quick 4 hour charge, when poly has totally drained her battery does she need a long trickle charge instead ?

If it does not already exist (just not publicly known), I would recommend the reset to factory procedure be based on usage of the pin (and/or combination of buttons) on startup. That sort of option can be done during a help support call, unlike a wait till battery drains.

And the firmware should have a download file, add to an sd-card folder to update firmware as well.

Right, using the pin to initialise a reset is the most logical option.
Finally, my poly blue light went off.

So, I plugged it in to mojo and then plugged usb charging wire into it, mojo chatging light came on but polys wouldnt :frowning2:

I seperated them and tried to charge poly on her own, still no charge light so I left it charging for a couple minutes and the charging light came back on, so I am now charging poly and will see whats up.

I hope poly is ok once she has been charged.

I re-mated them and one good sign is that poly is flashing red for low battery, so it looks to be ok, w00t.

So totally how many hours have you waited

Mine also come back alive and boot into Hotspot mode. So I guess Poly stuck in rebooting process.

except that some users mentioned that the Poly didn't respond to any pin insertions either after freezing... so draining the battery was the only option left.

1. I was suggesting that Chord add this option if it does not already exist - an all else fail reset.
2. If it does already exist it may need a combination of pin and holding a button together, which we have not been advised of.

In total, from lock up to full charge was roughly 27 hours.

11 of those hours was charging poly from flashing red to blue. Using anker 4.7amp charger, which previously charged both mojo/poly combined in a few hours, 4 or so.

I also for the very first time saw poly flash the colour purple.

After charging, I went to pair with my phone and noticed that poly was flashing the colour purple, I had never seen that before, even when poly previously was tested in bluetooth mode. I have only ever saw poly flash rgb until last night when I saw the colour purple.

I am not sure if the problem to do with my poly was because of the fact that a week ago when the new firmware update was released, I was unaware of the new flash until after my poly had been updated.

Thats twice that the forced firmware update has happened and which I only became aware of it after the fact. My poly was being charged at the time the update happened.

I would very much prefer flashing over usb or the most preffered option, flashing from polys sd card, either automatically if poly see’s a specific named file on boot up or manually with poly connected to a pc/mac over usb and manually executing a file either on desktop or from sd card. I think it would be soo much safer.

I also think their should be a factory reset option via the pin, maybe push and hold for 30 seconds or 1 minute, I tried that when my poly froze, I pushed the pin in for about 2 minutes to see if it would reset.

Maybe chord are already planning to include those features further along polys roadmap ?

In my opinion for what it is worth, In my opinion both poly and gofigure are both clearly still in the beta stage of development. However I can see that progress is being made and I am sure that is light that I can see at the end of this tunnel that we are in.

Edit,

Yesterday when poly locked up, I connected it to mojo and turned mojo on and turned up the mojo volume to full so that hopefully the batteries on mojo/poly would run out quicker.

Mojo ran out of batteries first and eventually so did poly.

The genius that I am forgot that mojo was at full volume, guess whats coming next ?

And yes, I do hear ringing in my ears, worse than before, hopefully it will subside in a few days like my other nerves as the brain adapts to and tunes out the ringing.
