Chopin--why doesn't he get too much respect here?

For etudes Pollini/DG is the best I have heard, a master at work here



Now you've gone and done it--I knew I ripped this one not too long ago but it's been ages since I've listened to it--until now. Wow! It really is splendid.

My wife had a lot of fun with Chopin when she was working on her Master's. I remember her playing the Mazurkas was a treat, in particular.
