I purchased these after Maxx134 modded them, I bought them because of the pride he took in his work. I like original and unusual. So can you explain the difference if any and does the person sell their services?

There aren't that many because planars' mids are more affected by closing the back than dynamics making them much harder to tune.Any recomendation for a closed back planar?
You might PM Maxx134 and ask him if he does that as a service??So can you explain the difference if any and does the person sell their services?
The pads look shredded where they mount. Did they come that way or is that part of the modding process?Look what the mail lady delivered today, Modded by Maxx134, they are more beautiful in person.
You might have some luck with a single lap of hockey tape where the pads are mounted to the headphone. They were old pads and he left them on, I think they got messed up from taking them off and putting them on, they are very comfy and sound good they just look like a butter face
I've ordered some different pads from Amazon, Dekoni hybrid pads they look like they could fit. Hopefully they don't change the sound. You might have some luck with a single lap of hockey tape where the pads are mounted to the headphone.
This will also increase the seal.
Get a used ZMF Ori. Fantastic headphone...I've heard other planars w/higher resolution, but none w/that quality of bass & soundstaging.Any recomendation for a closed back planar?
Linsoul has an interesting new planar for sale - the $399 Ovidius TX-901 'Combat Armor'. It looks pretty cool, though doesn't look like anyone has heard one yet.
