Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)

Yah, there a ton of "rendered" stock images of it with detachable cable. Nothing of one from an actual camera. So maybe they had that in the initial design and then scrapped it but still let out of those photos?

Yup, actually, the renders on the Amazon listing for it (with prime shipping!) have the detachable cable, too. I noticed it the other day but was too lazy to mention it. Seems they may have originally wanted to make it like the detachable setup that they have on the 681 EVO (and HD 668B if memory serves me) but they ditched it. :frowning2:

Yes, you can find the full Yoga headphone "hi-end" lineup here:

https://www.yo-tronics.com/en/2-367/manufacturer/Hi-End-Headphones-id57756.html

Also, back when the HM100 and Alara were announced I created this thread:

Any yoga/yo-tronics headphones. You can't really order them directly from anywhere.

So if you fill in and send the pricing request what happens?

Nothing. Tried it before. Never got a response. Tried it several times. I don't think they respond unless your are ordering a truck load. Literally.
Dingdingding!
I have looked into it a little bit and it seems as if the only way to get Yoga headphones is by buying in bulk...that's why you will occasionally see things like the Spadger version of the open backed HM5 pop up, then sell out after several months to a year. Someone buys a pallet of Yoga headphones, puts a logo on them, switches up the accessories a little bit and then sells them on Amazon for a small profit.
I saw one of those Yoga planars, they looked nice enough in the picture...I was wondering if anyone had actually slapped a brand on some and sold them.

Yep. Some even start a groupfunding program to get the funds for a bulk buy. Of course they never admit that is why they need the money. It is quite fun browsing alibaba and see what "new" headphones will be announced in next six months or so.
