I want to buy some Audio-Technica ATH M50's. What website has the cheapest, legit (not fake), headphone?
What about a cheaper alternative?
Soundprofessionals.com has them for $122.31 after the coupon code. They also sell refurbished ones for around $105 I think.
Someone recommended getting them from ScitScat for $120 w/free shipping: http://www.scitscat.com/p-4793-audio-technica-ath-m50s-professional-headphones-straight.aspx
However, as I mentioned in another thread, the item name and SKUs seem mixed up (the item labeled straight is the coiled SKU and vice versa). Also, I don't know if ScitScat is a trustworthy retailer, how long they take to ship, and what their return policy is. Is there anyone who's purchased from them that could chime in?
Amazon currently has the straight variant for $141. http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATHM50S-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B004ZG9TMA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1318179448&sr=8-2 I'm very tempted to get these as I get free 2-day shipping (Prime student account) and I have never had any problems with Amazon in the past. If ScitScat is a good retailer, though, I'd be willing to try them to save some money.
