Pointing out a potential conflict of interest is totally fine. Though should be done in a civilised manner.
To be clear on that front, I do not receive any commission from headphones.com based on their sales of any product. Nor have I ever taken payment from any manufacturer, and I have always actively avoided using affiliate links.
Headphones.com could sell 100000 headphones in a day and the amount I receive for making videos would be exactly the same as it would had they sold 1.
I also have no editorial discretion/control from above. The videos I make are on products I choose to review and I produce them myself with no restrictions on what I say in the videos.
I (and the others on The Headphone Show) have also produced plenty of videos that are quite negative about products that headphones.com does sell, and quite positive about ones that they don't. (this has even led to manufacturers dropping headphones.com after a negative review for their product went up and headphones.com would not take it down to keep the manufacturer happy).
I joined headphones.com because with them I can do this full time whilst having true freedom to make honest and high quality content.
For headphones.com building trust is more important than short term gain and their track record demonstrates that.
Trust and integrity have always been things that I have prioritised, including turning down various lucrative opportunities that I felt would have the potential to cause bias. And hopefully my own track record demonstrates that too.
As to the feedback on the amp. I would reiterate that this is a discussion thread, not an appreciation thread. And people should be free to share their opinions without being berated for not being enthralled by the product.
