I went to burn a CD to I tunes and it apears as if the last one is stuck in the internal CD drive of my Mac book pro.

I see cheap external CD drives.  Can this be used as to burn CD's to I tunes?  Will the stuck CD impact designating a new drive to read from?

thanks

This is just one reason why Macs annoy me.  Would it hurt to have a mechanical eject system that you can poke a straightened paper clip into like a generic optical drive for a PC?

Any way.... you really going to just go and buy a new drive without trying the common methods of extracting it?

FYI, had this thread been about a Mac Pro (as the title suggested) and not a Macbook Pro, well, that would have been the solution
