What cheap cable do you recommend from aliexpress? i was looking something like these two:

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/3305...1.0&pvid=59becdbd-a4b0-47e2-9cfe-182f7a082af4

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4000...7.0&pvid=549509cf-d457-4712-b045-ebcd2f96be2c

It's enought to improve a little bit the sound?
There are differing opinions on whether a cable can improve the sound of an IEM. Having had over 40 years experience in audio I am of the opinion that, yes, it can. Any high quality cable (8 core, 16 core, single crystal, etc.) should be an improvement on the stock cable which is also very tangly!

Im looking for an upgrade cable for the C12 I ordered but the official ones are gold or silver. Are there any other brands with darker color that fit?

I got a freebie that came with the C12 from the CCA store on AliExpress. Nice cable.

Got this nice little TRN cable in the 11.11 for just over £6. Only 2 pin, no type C option.

Added Tennmak whirlwind tips too, not sure they work that well on the C12 as they bring c12 nozzle way up the tips. Nice fit in the ears though.

Sorry, it looks like I'm hoging the thread.

My recent experience with C12 cables to share.
The new generation of multicoloured cables offers amazingly rich psychoacoustic experience!
Here I feel that silver enhancies treble nicely, opens it up, makes it breathe; the blue supports the tightness in the bass, brings the crispiness to an overall balance; and the shiny connector parts make the overall experience a touch overly exuberant for my senses. The next step is to get the matte ones and compare :)

I don’t know much about IEMs but all I can say is. .....
I have read much more positive stuff about the C10 then the C16.
Seems like the C10 has a more positive review then the C16. But what do I know.

considering this is your first iem, do you have a good seal with your ears?

Yep. Its not my first in ear earphones so i know about the importance of seal, just my first IEM with multiple armatures. The sound is just badly balanced in comparison to the Sennheiser when it comes to metal and rock, not good enough mids. They sound good with electronic music, they have better deep bass than my sennheiser and clear highs but the highs are too loud so when I pump the volume it hurts my ears.
Vocals and guitars are really lacking power when listening to Rock/Metal/Death Metal.

I would love to have the sound of my Sennheisers with a little bit more deep bass.
