The C16s don’t have piercing treble. Any sibilance or peaks go away after playing them in or burning them in. Mine have zero sibilance and are smoother than smooth sounding.

Definitely no peaks or piercing treble. Amazing details though. Try this on the C16:

That's a coincidence, I got my C16 for my 70th and received a free cable from Better Audio. It's coming this week.

That is a solid cable. Looks like the plugs fit well.

**** are just great, iv read that they are very close to the C16 in performance
+1 This is very true, since I own both and have been testing them side by side. The C16 are slightly brighter and has slightly more details and an overall bigger soundstage. But, the bass! It is one of the best I've ever heard coming from a BA setup!

I agree with that, they are my impressions too. The bass is superb. They get better with time as well, like a good wine!

This piece really shows what the C16 can do. Listen out for the bass drum, tuba and brass, and what a dynamic range!
