Latest CKX reviews hooked me. Just ordered one.
I do like that this seems fairly small by the pictures and it also comes in flat black.
Yes, CKX and CA16 are the two best CCA's for me as well. Different tunings but both excellent.CKX are one of the smallest I have considering the driver count and one of the best offerings they have made along the with the CA16 but that has a different tuning.
thanks. don't think i mentioned graphs ... i posted my listening impressions of the C12 and others (trusting my ears). I did read everyone's review but only found one comparisons of CA16 or CKX to CCA C12, Starfield, or Hd58x. One reviewer found the CKS "less aggressive" than the C12. That helped.Hello
Have a look at my reviews here:

CA16:

Also read others' opinions and reviews, perhaps do not place too much emphasis on graphs and trust your ears!
Oh, OK, I assumed you had identified the frequencies you mentioned in your previous posts from a graph and that helped with your EQ. Sorry if I got the wrong idea.thanks. don't think i mentioned graphs ... i posted my listening impressions of the C12 and others (trusting my ears). I don't have the it00 but I have the it01. The ckx is more detailed and clearer than the it01. Mid is also more forward and the treble has more sparkles on the ckx.Guys, any of you could compare CCA CKX with IBasso IT00. It's in the same price bracket in my place (the other being Shozy 1.1).
and to me Ibasso IT00 is the default rec in that price range and Ibasso and Shozy being more heavy hitter in the price range, i wonder if CKX could properly compete with it.
If its better than IT01 in several aspect then its highly competitive in its price point.I don't have the it00 but I have the it01. The ckx is more detailed and clearer than the it01. Mid is also more forward and the treble has more sparkles on the ckx.
It is better than the 3-4 times more expensive NM2+ I can assure you.If its better than IT01 in several aspect then its highly competitive in its price point.
Can you show us a photo of the NM2+ next to the CKX? I want to see how much smaller is the CKX next to the NM2+.It is better than the 3-4 times more expensive NM2+ I can assure you.
You can take a look at this first:Can you show us a photo of the NM2+ next to the CKX? I want to see how much smaller is the CKX next to the NM2+.
Thanks for showing us your photos in advance.

It seems like the nozzle on the CKX is bigger than the NM2+, but the NM2+ is bigger overall out of both units. Nice! You can take a look at this first:

I will shoot some pictures of their fronts later.
They have similar timbre to my ears but I find the CKX to be better in almost every way. The NM2+ maybe less congested in the upper-mid region for busy tracks. It seems like the nozzle on the CKX is bigger than the NM2+, but the NM2+ is bigger overall out of both units. Nice!
I found the right tips for the NM2+, that's why they're keepers for me!
Now, is timbre as good as the NM2+?
