Is there any way to check what res of music is playing? Since it’s not listed on the toolbar, first DAP I’ve owned missing that, rather have music quality over what amp I’m in since I can pull down the tool bar and check what amp I’m in but can’t check my music res. Any way to add that to at least the pull down tool bar?

I'm having a problem where I can't seem to get my unit recognized when connected to my computer as I try to get my FLACs onto the DAP through microSD. Using a SanDisk 512G, N8ii is running 1.1 firmware. I've tried multiple cards, nothings working. Anybody have thoughts on what to troubleshoot? Frustrating, to say the least.

Check Settings -> Connected Devices -> Default USB configuration, what is your current setting?

When you connect N8ii to your computer, is there any related message in the Notification center?

@Andykong Thanks for this. I do see this alert, and following directions in manual, I switch to File Transfer, then..... nothing. What should I try next? I might have to get to the store to buy and try a different cable than what came with the DAP, but right now, once I'm making that change, there's nothing going on. I don't see anything happing on the N8ii, and it's not showing up on my connected iMac.

What's weird is the Cayin provided cable has me thinking it's doing SOMETHING. It's stating on the DAP that it's charging slowly (which it is), but as stated, once I switch to File Transfer mode it just doesn't seem to be registering anything.

Have you installed Android File Transfer on your mac?

Maybe it's waiting for you to do something, like transfer a file?
