So unit #103 is in the house, rebiased so no hiss with the Sharona

About out of the box vs burnt in unit, so far I must say that it's much closer than I would have figured... interesting!
The only significant difference I can hear is bass wise where my original unit is tighter and more controlled but otherwise N30 is just superb out of the box
Other difference is the volume wheel of #103 is looser out of the box and even a tad looser than #037 after months

Thank you for the info. Do you think the first models were more solid in build? I mean it is just a lot of 300+99 items I don't think that there is a lot of deviation.So unit #103 is in the house, rebiased so no hiss with the Sharona

I am not up to date about the Hiss issue and the one that I just ordered is rebiased already, however, what Sharona are you talking about? The Knack?

Build is identical in every way but resistance of the volume wheel.
Re-biased units don't hiss.

No: you have the AP version and he has the LE, the serial numbers are different.Looks like we are twins! I have the Pearl 37.

Well, I like it a lot biased or not, it does what it needs to do for me, which is feed me some dadrock on some awesome cans or bus while assdeep in the couchYeah and funny it was one of two units remaining at MT, with a rather "low" serial
