For benefits of everyone else, I also tried using the N3 as BT receiver to pair with MEE Audio Connect (aptx LL) transmitter hooked up to my TV via optical TOSLINK. I know TV is not the intended use, but I just wanted to test out. I had thought I could use my MM400 or PM3 for watching TV, unfortunately there is substantial lag - perhaps more than 0.5sec. For comparison, my current setup using my Plantronics Pro2 and Sense with the MEE, the lag is at the optimal 30-40ms.
So how is it using N3 as a Bluetooth Receiver pairing with MEE Audio Connect? Excellent?
I have been considering using Bluetooth Audio when watching TV during the quiet night when my kids are sleeping.
New firmware (1.2) resolved my delete issues. Thank you.
Can you add a “Low Vision” theme? Something with larger BOLD fonts, and white/yellow on black background? Maybe small album art, as long as track info fits on black background.

Back when I was using the FiiO X3, I created a FW theme just like you describe for a fellow headfi'er with vision issues. Black background, white text, very large fonts for menu items (really just image files), and a slightly larger font for the system.
wow.....the shop is called headfoneshop.com...what might be the link? And please do not click on the product link there by yourself..have other people do it for you...
And also never say "please" or "thank you".
Well back when I sold HF I didn't have a life outside of HF. Then you get married, have kids and suddenly your HF life has no life or very little at least. I sneak on when I can but the wife keeps me on a pretty short leash. If she catches me it's "your not buying another %^&*! piece of audio gear are you???". No dear just looking, then I stop looking and take out the garbage.
Unfortunately you can only purchase the Fiio, Astell & Kern and Calyx DAP's online from headfoneshop.com. You will have to go to the store to purchase the N3. Calling it a store is being kind, it actually shares the space with a shipping center and takes up about 1/3 of the store space. It is basically a small glass counter with headphones hanging on the wall and DAP's and DAC/Amps on display in the case. But the guy who runs it is really nice and he is willing to haggle on the price.
Very excited to have an N3 arriving soon from MusicTeck. I was looking for a new DAP that had a more neutral/warm profile as better a pairing with my LZ A4s. That it can double as a BT receiver/DAC (and is much cheaper than the M5 it's replacing) is a bonus.
