It's a separate purchase. Both items from taobao.com
Thanks, found it there.... and also a USB C-coax cable...

Finally got around to pick up my i5. Scanning of the 200GB microSD card was really quick. Charging now. Will enjoy it later.

Heheh! Thanks! I've tried streaming from my 3 NAS. I've even tried streaming from my Dropbox.
Only thing is when I stream DSD from my Dropbox, it plays beautifully. However it does cause the i5 to hang.. The music continues to play but the control buttons don't respond. Andy will likely tell me I'm pushing the i5 too much with that.
Great thing is not only does it play DSD fantastically, the difference between red book and high res PCM is very apparent: it scales up nicely with high res music files.
Listening done at this stage with a Tralucent Plus5 iem with Uber Too cable. Excellent listening!

It is nice, I just wished we could select music based on it (like AK DAPS can)

Haha! Interesting point. I have the AK240 and AK380Cu. I can't say I have ever used that function before.

Andy, if you look at the photo of my i5, you can see that the bug of the song starting at 30:00 is still there. I must confess that it doesn't bug me at all. But I did say I would report what I see.
any thoughts of pairing the i5 with the ATH-E70? I was actually going for the Heaven VII but after a while now with i5
I am thinking that pairing might become bit too thick in the mids... I think the i5 needs pairing with something more neutral.

Hmmm... Would be a bit tough because I don't own any Audio Technica iems. I've listened to the i5 with the Tralucent Ref 1 Too, Tralucent Plus5 and FitEar 335DW thus far and liking what I hear thus far.

since my IPC just started failed me (owning it for 8+ years with one service), ive been looking at Onkyo DP-X1 until i stumbled on the i5. Im using ER4SR and a Chinese made 8ba CM, most sources for me would be wav. Which should be my player of choice?

I'm building a custom ROM of Cayin's first Android DAP with the following features below:
-Rooted
-Busyboxed
-ART Runtime
-Some optimizations
I'm having current issue with root support. I tried using su files from Superuser/SuperSu but root didn't work. Tried a few solutions I used with other phones but none worked so far. I wonder if it requires any specific binaries. It should use armv7 version but going around with a few revisions from SuperSu didn't work at all.
