Been doing a burn in since this morning and I just love this amp. One of the very few times where I had high expectations and had them surpassed. I had the replacement tubes already here (SE KT88, SEE 12AU7) so I just moved into those. So far impressions

Meze Elite - Sounds incredible. I loved the Elite with the GS-X Mini already but there's a bit more warmth, depth and boominess which I didn't feel I was getting with the GS-X Mini.

ZMF Atrium - Thinking I'm just not a Atrium Open fan, didn't really like it on my GS-X Mini and don't really care for it on the HA-6A either. I just don't see a scenario where I'm going to pick this up over the Elite, think I'm going to list it for sale which I hate because it's just a gorgeous headphone.

Elysian Annihilator - This was easily the biggest surprise. Need to spend some more time with it but I can't believe how punchy these sound now while maintaining the treble and detail.

My cage doesn't fit over my SE KT88s. Are you using something to raise the cage at all or did the revision sink the power tubes in deeper?

KT88s fit under mine, but anything with adapters doesn’t, so I use 4mm banana adapters to raise it higher when I need to

Sophia Electric KT88 have a bigger bottle than regular KT88.

very odd. Cage fits over with at least 1/2 inch of room to spare.

I use a a few plastic or metal washers under the cage feet to raise them up a few cm for my SE kt88s to fit.

I got one of the ones with the newer rectifier 17ax4 rectifier tube and it only came with EL34s.

Great so far. Upgraded the tubes to SE KT88 and SE 12AU7 as well. Sounds great with the Susvara and has plenty of headroom which is what I was hoping for.
