My 2A is sliver and my 3A is black. It worked well because I had a sliver and black bifrost already. I really like the looks of the black but it is a bit of a finger print magnet. Black was not available when I ordered either.
Thank you, my bad eyes, from the picture it kind of looked like the black was the smaller 2A. I think there was mention from Cayin that there may be black versions coming later.

These are probably a little better to the size difference.

I like that the 2A is not a glossy case but more of a matte finish. The silver looks really good also. Somehow the 2A looks cleaner than the 3A overall.

AndyKong: I think there is a mistake in the specs for the HA-2A in the first post you made introducing the amp. Under the tube specifications, it says ECF82/6U8 can be substituted with ECF82/6UG. As far as I can tell, there is no 6UG tube. I think it should read ECF82/6U8 for both lines.

But what about the 6U8A? All the tube manuals I have seen list the 6U8A as a sub for the 6U8. And true 6U8 tubes are hard to find while 6U8A tubes are much easier to find. Should the specs for tube substitution list both the 6U8 and the 6U8A?

I checked the original Chinese user manual and confirmed that the English specification was wrong, thank you for pointing this out, I stand corrected.

I've just joined the HA-2A club. Had a brand new one delivered today. I was going to buy the HA-1A mk2 as I've had it before and it paired nicely with my OG Auteur. But the store I placed the order with in the UK (shout out to Hifonix) gave me a call and suggested either the Feliks Echo or HA-2A. I've owned the Echo before as well and didn't want OTL, but was very curious about the HA-2A. I've actually owned the HA-1A twice before, and as much as I loved it, the QC and build issues were seriously bad. The solder to the tubes under the LEDs would fail regularly, the levels of hiss was excessive at times even with tube changes, and they were both heavily affected by interference from wifi etc.

Well Hifonix were spot on to recommend something else, I've only had the HA-2A plugged in for 30 mins and it sounds so sweet. Very clean, but spacious and fluid. Much better build quality as well. It's putting a big smile on my face. Can't wait to hear it once the tubes are burned in. OG Auteur pairs beautifully well.

If anyone is curious then I can 100% recommend it.
