After trying out the C9 at the recent Canjam London with my SP3000 I was considering getting one. I decided to read through the C9 thread though and on page 419 found a link to the new C9ii. I’m quite excited about this. I was millimetres away from pulling the trigger on the OG, but now I’m happy to wait and I’m looking forward to reading impressions.

@Andykong , I know you took an engineering model copy of C9ii home can you tell us sound impressions please, comparisons with N30LE and C9, we understand this will be considered to be from an insider and not independent but the lack of AUDIO impressions is deafening!!!! Even translated impressions from Asia listeners at last weekend show.
Thanks

Once we roll out the amplifier, user impressions will surface soon. I didn't keep the C9 engineering sample after the show, they need the device for the pre-launch process, such as applying for safety certificates.

I understand that, first thanks Andykong for responding, but did it knock your socks off compared to N30LE or C9 original? You can hint at something then add a Disclaimer after. The point is some of us are trying to position interest/Funds .. 🫠

It doesn't have a desktop mode.

The battery tray is removable, you can swap a new set of batteries anytime, theoretically, you can playback non-stock for days with two sets of 18650 batteries.

Good time for nutube enthusiasts. Luxury precision has EA4 coming out in October. Hopefully it generates a healthy competition.

I'll see which one is thr winner and go with that.

On paper, EA4 had more power delivery thanks to 6 18650 battery. Which means a bulkier built
I personally want an IEM amp. So fingers crossed, C9ii would be cheaper and as good as EA4 for IEM.
