Hi forum members. My first C5DAC review unit had charging problems so Cayin sent me another unit for review. I have received the working unit 2 days ago and  enjoying the C5DAC so far...
 
I began testing and I love the sound-stage and general presentation of this DAC/AMP!
 
Like many of you, I also found the Bass boost switch to be nearly useless (at least for my tastes).
 

On the photo connected with a Samsung Galaxy TabS 8.4" via the micro USB port. I use USB Audio Player Pro (UAPP) as an application.
 
Here it is connected to a Beyerdynamic DT150, an 250 Ohm headphone. Drives it with ease... Very powerful DAC/AMP!

I have shipped my unit to @Ra97oR  -next reviewer in UK-  yesterday. The malfunctioning unit is packed and waiting to be picked up by the carrier.

I've got the C5 in hand now... Thanks Jeff, (Chowmein83)
It's charging up as I type this...
C5 has his work cut out for him.
 
It'll go toe to toe with the iFi iDSD Micro, and ALO Continental.
I'll use a mixture of line out options to parse decoding and amp sections independently.
Also planning on stacking it up against a couple of Fiio beaters and inserting it into the big rig with Godzilla (Sansui AU11000) to see how it fares.
