I'm wondering if the KA5 will finally be released. I've been interested in getting one since the announcement as it has a couple extra features that suit my use case better than the KA3. It was announced back in May with the release slated for October, but it's December now and it has yet to release. I can understand some delays to make sure it works properly but a heads up with a new eta would have been nice.

Huh. Well glad I got the FH5S on sale when I did. I actually love them with 2 dynamic drivers. They have made it into my top 3 IEMs I own for their smoothness. I know in reviews it seems many people dislike the second dynamic driver for some reason, or at least blame it for the IEMs few shortcomings, but honestly at the price point of $180 I got mine for it is everything Id expected and more. And the smooth transition that 2nd dynamic gives I wouldnt want to "upgrade" to just another IEM with more BAs in it. I already have enough of those. The smoothness the FH5S has in the low end transitions makes it an absolutely amazing IEM for many areas, such as pop, edm, jazz, classical, spoken word. But its negatives where it sounds a bit too boomy from the enhanced low mids would be things like rock, metal, and some hip hop. Which, since the three main genres of music people listen to today are pop, hip hop, and rock, having negatives in two out of the three categories the average person listens to I guess would be a failing. For me though, I love its uniqueness and its areas of strength are VERY good areas of strength. Its good to have such an outlier IEM for me

I thought people dislike FH5S for the 2BA drivers in the nozzle, not the 2nd DD. There is metallic / steely tint to the tonality due to the excess treble, so I didn't buy that one.

In these 4 years, we have moved from the FH5, FH5s/FH5s Pro to FH15. Every iteration means an all-new upgrade. This time, we bring the 1 dynamic driver 3 BA setup back after repeated experiments and verification, expecting to provide you with a new choice in mid-end hybrid IEMs.

In the FH15 is an acoustic structure with 1 dynamic driver and 3 balanced armatures. The newly developed 10mm carbon-based diaphragm dynamic driver results in less distortion and ultimately clearer sound. For mid frequencies, it employs a custom Knowles BA driver, allowing for lusher vocals and a more musical sound. Treble is handled by 2 Knowles BA drivers, capable of high treble resolution and capturing every last detail in the music.

We customized a notch filter setup for the FH15. When looking at the frequency response curve, it can be seen that the response between 1kHz and 4kHz has been improved, resulting in denser-sounding mids giving vocals and instruments more realism without sounding thin.
In addition, the S.Turbo acoustic design applied helps to filter the higher frequencies produced by the bass driver in a low-pass filter, and reduce frequency response overlap between the bass and mid drivers for more coherency between the different drivers and a more balanced frequency response, for a cleaner and more natural sound.

The FH15 features an aluminum alloy construction. Each texture has to go through 3 times of refine processing to acquire a smooth connection of the 3D curve. Then, it is combined with the dragon scale design elements. After dozens of assembly processes, the FH15 eventually shows up with a brand-new dragon scale faceplate and unified construction.

The accessories are abundant as usual: 3 kinds of interchangeable sound filters (balanced/bass/highs), 5 kinds of ear tips (silicone/balanced/vocal/foam/dual-flange), 2 swappable audio plugs (3.5/4.4mm), and a 152 wires of silver-plated monocrystalline copper cable.
