This is Kanga. She's a Siamese/Rag Doll mix. I think she's about a year and a half old. She was a stray. I found her on July 4th of this year and she's my first pet. She's awesome.

BTW, how do you guys get pictures of your cats without making them look more devilish than they are? Redeye reduction doesn't work for me.

It can be difficult to take good pictures of cats. Some are more photogenic than others. Black cats (like mine) I think are really difficult... I have to do a lot of tweaking of levels in Photoshop or she just looks like a black smudge.

The best thing to do, if you can get away with it, is to avoid using a flash. The pictures I took -- if I remember correctly -- were all with a fast lens, so flash was not an issue.

I'm so jealous of everyone's kitties! I really like them but my boyfriend is allergic... My family always had at least a couple cats around, my parents now have 5 cats and 1 dog. For a while they had a rabbit and it was friends with one of our cats; the cat would sit on top of the rabbit's cage and bat at him. But the rest of the cats hated the rabbit so they gave it away. One of the cats liked to hunt baby rabbits and leave them on the front porch.

So I wouldn't recommend having a rabbit and a cat.

Large cats and small rabbits DO NOT get along... just ask this guy:

To be fair, a small rabbit looks like a large rat... and he's brought home far more of the latter than the former. But he is full bore Russian Blue, and an apex predator... how do you condition that?

Now, as for his sisters, they prefer to cuckold the dog (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel):

However, they do love playing with glowing, exposed headphone amp tubes... and chasing my mouse cursor.
