A democrat AND a cat fan... yet we've disagreed on so much in the past... amazing.

This is a slightly doctored photo of Belacane (Bela), "the cashmere cat" (so named because her cat bed has a thrift-shop cashmere sweater on it). I took this picture to use on the first batch of business cards from my store. The only doctoring I did was to white-out the background.

Bela is a shelter cat I picked up in 1998.

He looks stoned, lol.

Here's my gf's cats:

Penny (six toes front and back), a bit wacky, very nervous when you walk by her. My gf's mom took her off the street, pretty friendly overall though. Needs constant attention and will demand her food two hours early:

Panda, loves the bathroom, especially the tub and sitting on the window sill. You can pet her all you want in the bathroom, but outside of it...forget it, she's likely to snap at you. She has a prolonged meow (meeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww). Real drama cat. Has a short tail and stumpy legs but this sucker can leap 3' into the air to chase a toy on a string. We refer to her as a model since she seems to dislike wet food and eats dry food only. Willing to fight back if another cat gets snappy at her:

Precious, this is the chubby one who loves to eat all the time. Loves attention and drooling on my gf's shirt when she's masseusing her. Very affectionate but a bit of a closet case (likes to sit in one of the closets for hours on end):

Julia, the maine coon who is a bit spacey. Kinda zones out on the sofa for long periods of time. Gets very excited after having a good dump, will run around and leap over the coffee table. Scares the crap out of us when she does that. Pretty affectionate and probably the most relaxed, calm cat of them all in terms of grooming her and cleaning her ears:
