Cases suitable for carrying around CIEMs?

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic, but in the interest of an answer...it's about 2.5 x 3.5 inches exterior, about 1.75 thick. Small enough. An iPod shuffle fits in nicely for a fully contained highly portable set.

Keep an eye out on mp4 nation, they were on sale when I bought them for $3, can't remember shipping cost but it was reasonable for buying multiples.

+1 on the case from MP4Nation. I have a couple of them. They are great and my Sansa Clip Zip fits in nicely as well.

I bought a 2Oz tobacco tin and after I had lined it with 1mm foam sheet, the lid would not close properly :frowning2:

I have just got this watch case from Amazon  and it seems to be perfect.

I now know an Altoid doesn't work, far to shallow. The watch case
I mentioned a scarse few posts ago is doing it for me at the moment, Ticks the boxes and the cable, 2 x silica gel, cleaning tool AND my Samsung bloootoooth thingy ma jig fits in perfectly.

Gaz gives it a 5 out of 5.

Honestly the shape of the case is perfect.

Also consider compact camera cases guys, they work well, offering a little more size than our usual IEM cases.

Your right, these compact camera cases are really good. if it fits inside your jacket pocket and has the right protection level I am all for it. I wish the makers of CIEM,S would get it right.

Because the one I have is freakishly huge and is awful to lug around. Up to now, I've been wrapping the CIEM up in a silk handkerchief and just carrying them in my coat jacket, but I would prefer to have something small and accessible that offers more protection.

Been looking at this case on Amazon, and it looks really nice: http://www.amazon.com/Case-Star-Black-Earphone-Earbuds/dp/B007P0MSA8/

Just wondering if CIEMs fit in there (looks a bit cramped), or if anyone has other recommendations.

Thanks!

The case used by Noble for the IEMs may be something you would like to consider.  Let me know if you want one sent to you, Brannan has some in California.

Wanted to bump this thread. I was about to post the same thing. I just ordered my first pair of CIEMs from 1964 ears. They have a zipper case like the one you show for $5 so I might just add it to my order. I would like a small hard clamshell style case for my messenger bag but it look like you all have tried that route and nothing is coming up the right size. Anybody have anything new to add?

I still like the UE Metal Roadie case - I am able to get my JH16's with Reference Litz cable inside with no issues - and there is a guy on eBay that sells new ones in UE packaging for $9.99 shipped...

The newer black roadie case is a little better, IMHO. More expensive, though. DUNU has a similar case to the older one you referenced.

DUNU now has a newer case that's harder and feels more durable, in addition to being slightly bigger. (I have an ominous feeling that @Mimouille will come in for a little snicker at my expense)

I use the FitEar case a lot; I like the simple foam core center that you can wrap cables around, in addition to impact support...

I think I am going to purchase a Pelican Micro 1010 for mine. Its $10 on Amazon and looks like a good size with tons of protection. I will mostly be carrying mine all over NYC in my messenger so wanna make sure they are safe. It looks like the 1010 will fit them perfectly with my iPod nano as well.
