again it's been a long time since i tried both , and i didnt even try them at the same time frame and my taste might change now but to answer your reply :

IE400 takes the cake for me , it's more memorable and better to me in delivering the vital first impression , it's (somewhat) extremely v-shaped , it sounds more engaging wit the music i liked back then (maroon5 ,casual pop ,swing,electronic etc...) and it has sufficient (maybe barely passable) technical ability to make up for it's wild tuning.
