I just ordered Matrix mini-i to set up a computer audio system, plan to use it both as a DAC for bookshelf speakers and as an amp for a headphone. My music preferences are classical, vocal, pop, etc. I like warm and detailed. I am a newbie, so it is not wise to buy a Sennheiser HD 650, which I originally wanted to buy. I saw many recommendations for Grado SR225i. I felt that might fit me. What do you think? Can you make more recommendations? Thanks!

Now I'm leaning to Sennheiser HD 595.

If you want a sennheiser go with a hd555, the hd555 share the same drivers as the 595 and sound nearly the same.
 
There's also a VERY simple mod to effectively turn the HD555 into a HD595. When I say simple I mean that a toddler could do it.
