Found an OEM while searching for good chinese headphones called Rambotech. These seem to be one of the first few good apt-x bluetooth (rechargeable) earphones with in-line controls. They also seem to be very similar to the $150 Jaybird Bluebird X and $90 MEEelectronics AF71.

Rambotech version $80:

Anker version $50

Jaycar version $47+shipping

MeElectronics AF71 $44 w/coupon (normally $90)

My Anker version is on the way.

  Wasn't impressed with the in-ears. Range is only a few feet before it cuts in/out. Bass is very good, but mid/highs are lacking quite a but with aptx, and just sound poor in BT 3.0 or lower. It has a somewhat tinny sound.

I have the NFC headphones on the way.

Not many models with nfc aptx aac out there. You can find a new brand voxoa on amazon, just search bluetooth nfc aac aptx. It's bluetooth 4.0.

Ah, but is it a new brand, or a rebrand of these?

Voxoa = $149 from Amazon

OEM China version, same product, $38 shipped.

This one is slightly different, $44 shipped. Handream is an actual factory. Rambotech is not (that I know of).

Good work there. They sure look alike. If you look closer, they are all different.

These two are so much alike. Someone is "borrowing" the other's design. hahaha.

All the controls are on the right.

Most of the controls are on the left.
