I believe that. Really cool to hear that he tries to accommodate. As I know there will be a lot of people there and isn't reasonable to think everyone can have a listen.
Yes indeed! It's so much fun to listen to and I wish we had an entire week to let people listen as long as they wanted. I will always try my best. Even those that don't get to listen that time can connect with me personally and stay in touch about the next show and the next show and the next show.

Yes. It is a physical list the waitlist. I'd go to @ericpalonen first thing in the Saturday or Sunday morning and let him know you're available on any slots so when on somebody didn't make the timeslot, you can be first one to fill in.
I still remember my first HE-1 experience vividly. He was showing DMS HE-1 being stolen and how they were able to get it back at the TV screen last year haha
The problem with the wait list to hear the HE-1 at the November 2023 Dallas CanJam was that it was circumvented. People with reserved spots who could not make their date and/or time used the Head-Fi CanJam Dallas web page and other methods to pass along their spots directly to friends and others.
Usually just before CanJam (like a week? Or so? Maybe when they do their SoCal CanJam video), they announce what discounts will be available at which vendor.
There won't be a full list of every item that's available to each one, because that would be way too much to list out, but you'll at least know where to go for what show discount is there.
Please stop with the veins!!!! Seriously, it's gross, so so so gross. And i can't stop looking, it's burning into my eyeballs. Can we get a veinless cgi shirt dude please?
And if. you are a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fan (though Terre et Sang will give Paso a run for Syrahs), then a detour through Santa Ynez is a good win!
It does depend on what you want to drink. Paso does not have many Cabs that can compete with Napa (though L'Aventure is pretty good) and certainly not the Chardonnay available in Sonoma. And for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (and Terre et Sang makes amazing Syrah), you cannot beat Santa Ynez. My wine cellar is nearby and happy to supply some wine!
For real! this is my first CanJam and I can't even begin to tell you how Excited I am. Meeting a few people off of here and then bringing a good collection of headphones to share, so others can get some time with them. Looking forward to it!!!!!!
