I understand that decision, still sad to hear as the HD 490 Pro and the IE 400 Pro are one of the best Sennheiser offerings at all (although i would love to hear an version with tamed bass)

It looks like it. They went fast last year as well.

This year I got a slot (just a few ticks before 5pm PDT). Last year (in Dallas) I was #1 on the waiting list and got to hear it as a result of much persistence. I don't think anyone else on last years waiting list got a listen.

Hello everyone! We're really excited to see everyone again at the @Sennheiser booth. Every show gets better and better and it is great to reconnect with old friends, as well as meeting some new ones.

As with past shows, we'll have an HE 1 on site. On September 2nd at 5pm Pacific Time (Los Angeles) we will be posting the HE 1 listening schedule signup for the show below ...and also in the sponsored threads forum from the @Sennheiser account, so please be certain to follow this thread and our handle for the fastest route to the signup.

At the event, we'll have an analog cancellation list so that if there is a rare no-show, we can call whoever is next in line.

We'll also have some prizes, the new HD 620S, the IE series, a cozy turntable zone, and other audiophile gear on hand so you can A/B (and C/D/E/F haha) our lineup. A handful of our MOMENTUM and ACCENTUM models will be there to link up to your mobile or DAP as well.

CanJam SoCal 2024 T-Shirts are $40 and can now be ordered online at the following link: https://canjamglobal.com/shows/socal2024/. On the CanJam SoCal 2024 show page, scroll down until you reach the "CanJam SoCal 2024 T-Shirts" section to place your order.

All T-Shirt pre-orders must be picked at the Registration Desk during show hours on September 28-29. The deadline for online T-Shirt orders for CanJam SoCal 2024 is Friday, September 20. We will have a few extra T-Shirts in various sizes on hand as well, for purchase at the show. CanJam SoCal 2024 volunteers do not need to order their own T-shirts as we will be providing them directly.

Hah! thanks for the reminder that volunteers don't have to buy theirs... I'm a volunteer and came here to ask the fabric material so I could buy the correct size! (XL for cotton, L for performance fabric or poly/cotton) Now I'm reminded... thanks.

We usually backfill three to five no-shows. I personally call them from my phone and send a few texts to squeeze it as many as we can.

Definitely recommend signing up to the back up list. Some people who are signed up may get fatigued with audio, may have something come up, etc.

Last year, I was there and @ericpalonen had graciously waited for our 3rd for a bit before calling around to back fill. It happens.

I can also vouch from experience that Eric makes every attempt to ensure as many people get to audition the HE-1 as he can reasonably squeeze in. And he's a super nice guy to boot.

I believe that. Really cool to hear that he tries to accommodate. As I know there will be a lot of people there and isn't reasonable to think everyone can have a listen.
