Yup. Masks are used to not propagate virus to other people. Very cool habit.

As a daily user of UK public transport I really wish that habit had spread to the rest of the world. It makes so much more sense for the sick people to contain it than for the healthy people to try and keep it away.

True that!

Don't think AAW has an active thread, but their flagship triple hybrid Canary was one of my show favourites. Here is my full review of the stellar IEM.

Have some from us here at UK too!

A good fish and chips can be pretty tasty though. Just they are generally a greasy mess lol...

Funny thing, during the three years I lived in London (we only recently moved back to the continent) I never once had fish & chips. I had it a year before we moved to the UK while I was visiting Edinburgh for work, and that was the luxury type because I ended up staying at a posh hotel (the only one with a room available during the Edinburgh Festival). Still need to visit my first proper chippy.

I always find it funny that while we lived in the UK we never had time to explore the country. Still need to go back some day and catch up on that.

I can't... I won't... subject you to traditional Dutch food. :confounded:

Had to Google that ahha. Stamppot... bangers and green mash. Mmmm. 5 stars!

A proper fish and chips! 5 stars! We had one here that used cod and beer batter, but nobody went because they charged so much, and went out of business within a year.

I think David Suchet as Poirot would put it like this:
"The Dutch don't have cuisine, they only have the food."

I used to have a French colleague who still lived in Paris although worked in the Netherlands and she could never deal with Dutch food. Given the taste of the fresh macarons she brought from Paris, I can understand her predicament. :D

There's a distinct quality differnece between regular fish'n'chips and top notch dish of the sort. At times the best ones are not served in fancy restaurants but on the street. Very simple food by design, yet it can taste sooooo good if done right!

Indeed, that's why I would still like to try it from a proper chippy. Preferably somewhere near the coast in Devon. :D
