I'm watching a potential winter storm threat around the 24th. If the winter storm looks legit, I'll let you know on time.
Last thing we need is storm…

Rain or snow? I'll never understand NYC with snow...

Anywhere else can get 16 inches and everyone is on their way to work the next day.

NYC gets 3 inches and the entire city shuts down. Trash isn't picked up for two weeks. Store shelves are empty. Babies are crying.

Because everyone rear ends each other and it causes gridlock. People dont know how to drive in the snow in NYC.

Oh dear god no. I've had so many bad experiences with snow storms in NYC. Several times I've been stranded there due to the snow and had to sleep at a friends place for the weekend.

Once was when I took the bus in, and they decided to cancel all NJ Transit bus routes without notice, so I was at Port Authority til 3am with 50 other people being like What. Eventually hiked through the snow 15 blocks to stay at a buddies place.

Another time I drove into Harlem, and it took 3 days before I could dig my car out. Had to borrow a metal shovel from my friend's superintendent because everything had iced over by the time snow plows stopped running.

I really really hope it's not a bad snow storm, or I might seriously pass. And I'm not even far! I can probably walk to Time Square in about 2 hours.

Other places have this thing called space. When the snow does get plowed, it gets plowed into snowbanks burying the cars....
And so he said let there be alternate side parking, and everyone got tickets for failure to understand his signs.

Especially with the nice weather today and tomorrow almost like Spring near 70 degrees. Does not seem right to have another winter blast but it is Feb...

It hasn't really snowed in NYC all winter. I would be SHOCKED if it actually snowed in the days before/during CanJam.

Guys, relax... as a local I can assure you of one thing - weather forecasts here are rarely accurate if they are more than 1.5 days ahead. NY weather is volatile, as some have pointed out. That means, whatever is forecast for TEN DAYS AWAY does not have a snow ball's change in hell (pun intended!:)) to become a reality.... :)

And if it does, we will renegotiate..

Super pumped! I've never been to NYC before :o2smile:
This is going to be extra fun!
Oh... don't make eye contact with anyone in Times Square. Especially if they have a stack of tour bus flyers in their hand.
