It's not in Chinatown, but if you don't want to make the trek all the way there, check out Dim Sum Palace. It's just down 46th, about a block and a half from the hotel. Super awesome place. If you are gonna make the trip down, Chinatown has so many great options you'll have a hard time finding a place that isn't good.

4 out of 5 dentists recommend Wo Hop. So does Fu Manchu. Never had to get a reservation, though.

Pho Bang is my favorite place for pho (their cha gio are pretty decent too) but not sure they take reservations.

Nyonya for some solid Malaysian.

Big Wong and Bo Ky are my favorite Chinatown staples since childhood, although neither are really the type of place where you’d make a reservation.
