Just a couple songs? Feh. Well..

Heart of the Sunrise -Yes (band) /Progressive Rock

So What -Miles Davis /Cool Jazz

Romantic Warrior -Return to Forever /Jazz Fusion

Ponta De Areia -Esperanza Spalding /Jazz

Misty -Ella Fitzgerald /Vocal Jazz

Enigmatic Ocean Partt I-III -Jean-Luc Ponty /Jazz Fusion

And I could go on and on and on, but those are some of my favorite songs of all time right there. What would really be cool is if we could just bring our music with us and plug into the DAC/amp and listen to our own music. Then again, this only works well with those who use portable gear, or really light laptops. But it'd be neat to listen to your own music.

I've tried to limit myself and have narrowed it down to the following seven tracks:

Holly Cole - “Too Darn Hot” from the Album “Shade”
(simplicity, complexity, bass, drums, vocals, piano, strings, horns, flute, clarinet - this track has it all!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkq9OML6vzE&list=PLTlmlxmSG5ceQzo2I7szP4b3n_ZmPWbJ6&index=56

Holly Cole - “Whistling Past the Graveyard” from the album “Night”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxL8Zjx0aXA&index=53&list=PLTlmlxmSG5ceQzo2I7szP4b3n_ZmPWbJ6

Stacey Kent - “All I Do Is Dream of You” from the album “The Boy Next Door” (Special Edition)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tqA1EQyBCU

Pink Floyd - “The Great Gig in the Sky" from the Album “The Dark Side of the Moon”
(Clare Torry’s wordless vocals has the ability to give me goosebumps - so much emotion!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAydj4OJnwQ

Boney M - “No More Chain Gang” from the Album “Oceans of Fantasy” (great purcussions in the intro)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVfKYwx9Pmw

Paul Simon - “Homeless” (feat. Ladysmith Black Mambazo) from the Album “Graceland” (25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)

Sting - “Shape of My Heart” from the album “Ten Summoner’s Tales”

Hello Hifiman people,

I have been a Sennheiser owner for quite some time now, however, of late, various fellow music lovers have encouraged me to explore your products.   I have always been delighted with my German stuff.

However reports of your tiny in-ear devices impressing people ( who I know are "not-at-all" easy to please ) have captured my attentions.
Another strange report keeps popping up: the HE6 combined with the Schiit Lyr2 is being said to be "Magical" !

I've known and understood that great musical performance reproduced by great performing equipment is Addictive, which is exactly what my acquaintances are reporting about your products: Addictive!

Now, you have my attentions.

Tony in Michigan

ps.  On a recent trip to Europe I encountered a Goldmand (Swiss) home audio system which included a Goldmand Headphone ( which was astonishing ) and which I'm told was sourced from you folks , can this be true? and if so, how can I own such a headphone? and matching electronics?

"500 Miles High" and "Spain" from Chick Corea's 1973's Light As a Feather. These cuts have the potential of demonstrating the HE1000's incredible ability to span the entire audible range along with the full dynamics from soft to loud. The HE1000 provides the platform that Vocalist Flora Purim, saxophonist-flutist Joe Farrell, bassist Stanley Clarke, and drummer Airto need to put the fortunate listener in the studio with them.
