I wasn't planning on attending Chicago this year, but I do need to travel right around that time and Chicago happens to be a hub which I would connect through. So, I might make it this year again.

As a local.. the places in NYC when visiting Time Square are away from Time Square.. just veer off a few blocks and you’re golden

True, lol. Who am I kidding, we're probably just going to make pilgrimages to some standard favorites anyway.
I've had great luck just picking a direction, walking, and choosing a spot that looked nice, away the main Times Square strip. One of my best meals in NYC was had doing just that with @joe.
